Hotel

We have a block of rooms reserved at a lovely Austin Bed and Breakfast, the Star of Texas, situated close to campus. To book a room, call the Star of Texas reservation line, 866-472-6700. Mention the Center for Perceptual Systems at the University of Texas at Austin, or the Diehl Workshop, to get the negotiated room-block rate of 3 nights (April 19-21).

Thursday: April 19 - $130 single occupancy, $155 double occupancy
Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 - $170/night
Rates do not include Austin city taxes.

Please book early. Rooms in Austin will go fast as there is a big motorcycle Grand Prix that weekend (we'll be having more fun than the grand prix!). We suggest you reserve a room early.

Travel

The event will be held on campus at University of Texas at Austin (SEA 4.244).  The program will begin Friday morning, April 20. We suggest partiicpants arrive on Thursday, April 19.
